Ingredient Spot: Vitamin C

If Vitamin C isn’t a part of your skincare regime, you’ll want to rethink your bathroom shelf. The superhero ingredient tackles the most common skin concerns: uneven and dull skin tone, acne scars, inflammation, pigmentation and so much more. So if you want to improve your skin health, read on…

What is Vitamin C?

Vitamin C is a magical ingredient that will elevate any skincare regime. Yep, it pretty much improves every skin problem you could think of, reinforcing the natural protective barrier of your skin, refining skin texture, reducing the appearance of hyperpigmentation and preventing collagen from breaking down.

When should I use it?

It’s best used in the morning to prepare and protect your skin for the day ahead – the powerful antioxidant helps to neutralise free radicals (the skin-ageing molecules that enter our skin from everyday environmental aggressors, such as pollution and UV rays), and is a key ingredient for ageing gracefully.

Where can I find it?

In a whole host of beauty finds, from moisturisers and cleansers, to face masks and serums, here at FOUR Life we have a wide range of Vitamin C-infused products to keep you fresh-faced and glowing all year round.
